What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?
Registration is not required to use the Application.
The Application may access certain device information only to provide its features:
- If you choose to grant location permission, the Application may access your device location to provide location-based features such as showing content around you or sorting results by distance.
- The Application may use your internet connection to load online content and services.
The Service Provider does not require you to create an account and does not collect personal information directly from you through the Application.
Does the Application collect precise real time location information of the device?
If you grant permission, the Application may access precise or approximate location information from your device in real time to provide location-based functionality.
This location information is used by the Application on your device for the requested feature. The Service Provider does not collect, store, or share your location information.
Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?
The Service Provider does not collect personal information through the Application and does not share such information with third parties.
However, some features of the Application may rely on third-party services or internet connectivity to display content or maps. Those services may process technical information as part of their normal operation.
What are my opt-out rights?
You can stop all use of the Application by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.
You can also deny or revoke location permission at any time through your device settings.
Children
The Application is not used to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.
The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If you have reason to believe that a child has provided personally identifiable information to the Service Provider through the Application and/or Services, please contact the Service Provider at descente.canyon.app@proton.me so that they can take the necessary actions.
Security
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. Since the Service Provider does not collect personal information directly through the Application, the privacy risks are limited to the permissions you choose to grant and the third-party services used to operate certain features.
